Lucian says 'Bah, what now? Can't you see I'm here?' (Was going to add dialogs but I see them posted under Lucian's entry.) Ranged attacks don't seem to work on the nests, but a flying kick plus leopard claw seems to take them out, then back up and feign death to shake off the harpies. Note: Doing this with a monk in the group is a piece of cake. Quite possible the ornate nests didn't count at one time, but they work fine now. The first 6 steps were straightforward:ĭestroy 2 Small Harpy Nests on the first ledgeĭestroy 3 Large Harpy Nests on the first ledgeĭestroy 2 Small Harpy Nests in the cliffsĭestroy 3 Large Harpy Nests in the cliffsīut I'm up on the mesa and I don't see any "large" nests, only "ornate" ones. I was able to finish the task "Destroy! Knock the nests down!" from Lucian on the entrance level, but I can see where it might've been broken at one time. I can just wander these zones marvelling at the expanse of wilderness. Serpent's Spine was a brilliant expansion, probably the best since Kunark since it's the last xpac to have content for everyone, a very good new starting zone, etc. Zone has the general feel of a dungeon (I say that in a complimentary fashion, I love dungeons) but it's much "bigger", with wide open areas which would serve kiters and quadders well. Obviously they're trivial at 110 but they would take some effort at 50-75, especially the final steps which would require a competent group of 6. But I just went back to it in anticipation of helping a friend who's new to the game level and did the quests needed. Probably because I'm always goal-driven and wanted to level up as fast as possible. I skipped this zone back when Serpent's Spine was the current xpac because I tend to dislike zones where you have to perform quests just to move thru the zone.
